* (Disclaimer: This video content is intended for educational and informational purposes only) * Lowndes County, Georgia — On May 24, 2023, a Lowndes County Sheriff’s deputy was responding to a crash along Highway 84, when a car comes down one of the lanes and doesn’t slow down. The car ramps off the back of tow truck along the side of the road, flipping, and landing upright. One of the deputies immediately springs into action and rushes to help the driver. A deputy was hit by flying debris from the crash, and taken to the hospital, but she wasn't seriously hurt. Georgia State Patrol confirmed a 21-year-old woman from Tallahassee, Florida was behind the wheel of that car.
