But who needs substance when you look that good. This is the Genesis GV80 Coupe Concept. As you may have inferred, it’s a fast roof rendition of the GV80 midsize SUV. Kinda like how the BMW X6 is the fast roof version for he X5. Though with all due respect to the X6, that looks much sexier. And now, a random string of the things I like about the design. -The color looks killer. -The black trim complements that orange paint exquisitely…miraculously without looking too Halloweeny. -The lower black trim nicely bisects the body side, reducing potential visual bulkiness. -The double lighter motif works great in this context. And I love the integrated kick up spoiler. With an exterior this strong, the interior better not suck. Oh, look it doesn.t The orange accents, the stitching, the seating materials, that cross brace behind the rear seats. The inside is an unavailable win. I haven’t read or heard word that Genesis will actually sell a GV80 Coupe. But they have said this concept is a statement of intent for more emotional and performance-oriented models.
