Episode 49 Namaste, We are Shirish and Pooja and Welcome to a Traditional Malvani Sweets Special Episode of @RedSoilStories It is the time to harvest Rice crop and Pooja was working in the Rice field along with our neighbors. It was later in the afternoon and it is too hot in here in this summer. Pooja asked Mai if she should bring Evening tea for all of them as it was tea time. Mai denied it and said she can bring anything other than tea. Pooja then went home and Started preparing for Gulgule (गुलगुले), It is also called as "baamgole" in the local language. Gulgule recipe is a traditionally made sweet dish in Kokan region as well as all over India. Though there are various methods of this recipe, Pooja is preparing it with Wheat flour and Jaggery. Along with Gulgule, She also prepared Ragi Sweet Porridge ( Nachanichi Pej ) which is a very simple and healthy drink in this summer. She took these two dishes to the farm along with few banana.
