The story of rapist and convicted murderer Thabo Bester and his partner Dr Nadipha Magudumana continues to grab the nation's attention with many twists and turns. Bester escaped from the Mangaung Correctional Centre on 3 May 2002 by faking his own death. A body was found inside his cell, initially believed to be Bester's but has now been identified as belonging to Katlego Bereng. Investigative Journalist Karyn Maughan puts the story in perspective.
