One day, Sukha could no longer bear the mistreatment and decided to run away from her owner. She ran and ran until she was exhausted and collapsed by the side of the road. Even in her weakened state, she still had a rope tied around her neck, a cruel reminder of her past life. As Sukha lay there in pain, she knew that she was going into labor. In just a few hours, her puppies would be born, and she worried about their safety. But then, a kind rescuer found her and took her to the vet. Sukha felt safer with the rescuer and tried to take a few steps, but her exhaustion caught up with her, and she collapsed again. The rescuer noticed that Sukha's breasts were swollen and milky, a sign that she was close to giving birth. The vet quickly took Sukha into his care and started to monitor her condition. As the hours passed, Sukha's labor intensified, and soon she gave birth to not one or two, but twelve beautiful puppies. Despite her difficult past, Sukha was a kind and caring mother to her puppies.
