Even in her weakened state, she still had a rope tied around her neck, a cruel reminder of her past life. As Sukha lay there in pain, she knew that she was going into labor. In just a few hours, her puppies would be born, and she worried about their safety. But then, a kind rescuer found her and took her to the vet.
