Three puppies fell in warm road work tar and when it cooled, they were unable to move. Without rescue, they would have died of thirst, unable to wriggle free, no matter how hard they tried. We've had tar babies before, so as soon as they arrived we got right to work with the help of many people, to begin the long process of bathing the anxious little ones in cooking oil. Throughout the bathing on day 1, we syringe fed them water and gave them food as they were so hungry from the whole ordeal. We had to change the blackened oil often. By nightfall, the puppies were exhausted and needed sleep, even though hours more of removing the tar would be necessary the next day. By the end of Day 2, we could see gleaming progress as patches of clean fur were revealed. And by Day 3, well, look at these 3 gorgeous players: Bingo, Checkers and Parcheesi. Thank you for giving us the means to have enough help to save lives and make hundreds of smiles. Intensive love means intensive care. Please donate: https://www.animalaidunlimited.org/donate
