In this week's episode, I get an up close view of white sharks along side the scientists of the California State University Long Beach Shark Lab. On a cloudy and misty morning, Research Technicians, Emily Spurgeon and Patrick Rex, head the team on a mission to place more receivers in the array and to tag white sharks. This was an incredible learning experience and a first hand look at how shark tagging is done. Both Emily and Patrick continue their research on the Southern California white shark population.
