Episode 56 On April 6th when we had Lucky at MVP for his surgery, I posted a quick video on Facebook before we went in for surgery. When I was posting the quick video, I saw a post from Bowie Texas Livestock about them getting in two Belgian Draft horses, one mare and one gelding. After we said goodbye to Lucky, I posted my blubbering mess of a live video to let you all know what happened with Lucky and I mentioned that we were looking to save two more horses. Cory and I talked it over along with the board members and we decided to save them in Lucky's honor. Lucky was the reason this foundation was started. Cory and I believe everything happens for a reason and there was a reason I saw that post. The money we raised for Lucky's surgery was used to save these two beautiful horses. We will never stop fighting for these gentle giants. This was the reason we started this foundation...to save more lives! With your support and generous monetary donations we saved two more lives...possibly three! Thank you for watching and we will keep everyone updated on two new arrivals along with an update on Liam after his vet appointment. If you would like to make a tax deductible donation to help with two new rescued draft horses with feed and veterinarian appointment donations, follow the below link to the Big Hoof Foundations temporary website!
