Just another day on the farm. Maxine is here for bath time, it’s Autumn here so we’re giving the Staffys extra baths to soothe their irritated skin. Lily has a yeast infection that is nearly under control. Rover has a daily bath usually but an extra bath with peppermint is nice every now and then for us humans I guess. We’re not complaining we dearly love Rover no matter what scent he’s wearing. A few more wins for Cruiser. He joins in on the pack howl in the morning. The pack put on a few extra ones today … maybe for Cruiser’s benefit? Whatever the reason, Cruiser is enjoying the comradeship he’s getting to be a part of. The pack howls are special. Always started by the brothers Tank and Chopper, but it always has to be taken up by Joey to get momentum. Freddo joins in towards the end and gives his stamp of approval. Then they all run around giving each other high fives. Cruiser and Chopper start playing. This is a big milestone for us with Cruiser. It means the focus on relationship building these last couple of weeks is working and paying off. Phew. Still lots of work to do. Dogs, cats, kittens, a Dingo. Luke is constantly helping relationships every which way you look!
