The two Black Dam Male Lions have been making a bit of a name on Londolozi of late. After spending the morning deep in the Ndzhenga Males' territory, they walk towards the Sand River in response to the calls of a lioness who they had been trailing all morning. As they arrive at the banks of the crocodile-infested Sand River, there is a huge herd of elephants drinking further downstream. Eventually after plucking up the courage, the male lions wade into the deep water and attempt to cross through. Presenting us with the most phenomenal view of the lions, elephants and scenery all in one frame. It doesn't get much better than that.
