A delicious and cooling beverage, muskmelon milkshake/ juice is ideal for hot summer days. Ingredients * 1 muskmelon (cantaloupe) Used half for this recipe * 1/2 cup sugar or add as required * 1 cup milk +2 cups * 1/4 cup Sabudana soaked * Water to cook sabudana * 1 tbsp Sabja seeds soaked * 1 tbsp custard powder Instructions * Cut the melon into half. * Remove the peel and separate it from the flesh. Remove the seeds. * Chop it into small pieces and add in a blender. Add the sugar and 1 cup milk. * Blend till smooth puree. * Soak 1/4 cup sabudana for sometime and cook until transparent and strain and set aside. * Soak 1 tbsp basil seeds and set aside. * Boil milk in a saucepan, Custard powder and keep stirring on medium heat, let it boil add sugar or condensed milk. * Add Muskmelon purée and cook it for 5 minutes. * Once it stars boils. Turn off the heat and let it cool down. * Add cooked sabudana and soaked basil seeds. Mix it well. * Add chopped nuts and mix it well. * Refrigerate for 2 hours and serve chilled.
