Cairo Museum is just at Tahrir square, this Tahrir square is the Esplanade of Cairo. We visited Cairo Museum first. Travelling in metro rain in Cairo is really cheap and fast, we did so whenever needed. Minimum fare is 7 EGP. Ticket for Museum is 200 EGP, half for students (Must produce student card or 'student' should be mentioned in the passport). One may need a whole day for the museum only, for us it was 4 hrs.
