Our road trip in Tibet does finally start. Today, we went from Lhasa (3656m) to Tuiwa (5070m) the second highest village in the world only 30 meters below La Rinconada in Peru. The landscape over 4000m is quite incredible, clear skies, shiny blue lakes, and very changeable weather. Altitude sickness is also paramount, we got oxygen bottles with us, and even the hotel in Tuiwa has the rooms equipped with oxygen machines. On our way we met incredibly nice people, Tibetan Mastiff dogs, and witnessed a water burial ceremony.
