We tried a traditional hammam bath in Istanbul Turkey for the first time. This is basically a Turkish bath which involves deep cleaning and lots of relaxation. A lot of bubbles are needed to clean the body as well as a strong sponge or loofa to remove all the dead skin cells off the body. Some strong massaging as well is needed in order to send the person receiving the Hamman to sleep. Done correctly it can have asmr effects and cause deep sleep and relaxation after getting the hammam / traditional Turkish bath. This is our DIY version that we attempted to do ourselves since the prior hotel I was staying it had their Hammam closed while we stayed there.
