This one's personal. THough I didn't get to meet the passenger who died, Tom Volz, I did get to fly in the Rotorway with pilot Mark a few days before this horrible tragedy. On July 29th, a gyro, while in the established traffic pattern, turned back into a rotorway helicopter. The two people on the gyro survived, but Mark Peterson and Tom Volz on the helicopter died.
