During a trip to Sapporo, I could not resist making a trip to the famous Nijo Seafood market. It was fun to explore all the unique varieties of seafoods and produce here; from giant king crabs, to the most perfect looking (though pricey) pieces of fruits and melons. But what happens if you can't take home any of the items? The next best thing is a meal at the market with a chirashi bowl with all the varieties of seafoods from the market. But it gets better because right across the market was a rather unique buffet! It's a dessert buffet themed rather whimsically. I'm not sure what I'm in store for, but it would be fun to find out!
